Your safety comes first

If someone is checking your phone or your browser, visiting this site leaves traces. Here is how to keep them to a minimum, and where to find help.

Leave quickly

The Quick exit button at the top of every page, or the Esc key, replaces this page with a weather site at once. Your browser's Back button will not bring this site back.

Cover your tracks

  • Open this site in a private or incognito window; it keeps no history once closed.
  • If you used a normal window, delete this site from your browser history.
  • This site sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser, so there is nothing else to clear.
  • A phone or computer someone else controls may be monitored. If you can, use a device they cannot access.

What VaultSec can and cannot do

VaultSec hides and encrypts files on your phone. It cannot stop someone from taking the phone, watching you type your PIN, or forcing you to unlock it — that is what the decoy PIN is for. It is a tool for your privacy, not a safety plan. An advocate from a helpline can help you make one.
